Letter of the Week Crafts
Literacy is fun when you bring in arts and crafts into learning. This helps children remember the letter shapes and sounds in a fun and engaging way.
B is for Button
The children glued on a variety of buttons for this letter project. When they were done gluing, they wrote “B is for button”.
N is for Night
We used some balled up foil for the children to stamp with white and black paint. This left a moon crater pattern, then we had them add on some stars and write the word “Night”.
P is for Pizza
We had the kids cut out the letter P, then cover it with red paint mixed with glue. Then we gave them some paper ‘pizza toppings’ and they each created their own pizzas.
